A grocery trader was killed and his wife injured over previous enmity of land related dispute at Tongi Bazar in the city early Sunday.
The deceased was Yeasin, son of Nazrul Islam, hailing from Munshiganj district.
Yeasin used to live in a rented house with his wife at Tongi Bazar.
Police said Yeasin had been at loggerheads with his uncle Nurul Amin over land issue.
Couple of days back, Abu Bakar, son of Nurul Amin, came to Yeasin's house at Tongi Bazar to pay a visit.

On information, police recovered the body and arrested Abu Bakar in connection with the incident, said additional superintendent of police Shakhawat Hossain of Gazipur Sadar Circle.
Rabeya was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
