Professor Md. Sayedur Rahman has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
The Medical Education and Family Welfare Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a notification on Tuesday that the chancellor of the university has appointed Prof. Md. Sayedur Rahman as VC of BSMMU for four years.
Currently, Prof. Md. Sayedur Rahman is serving as the chairman of Department of Pharmacology at BSMMU.
