Professor Yunus condoles loss of lives in Chawkbazar fire

Noble laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep shock at Dhaka’s ChawkBazar fire that killed 67 and injured several people, says a media release.

In a condolence message, he said, “I am deeply shocked and sad at the loss of lives in last night’s fire in ChawkBazar.”

“I express my deepest condolences and sympathies to all those who have lost family members and loved ones in this accident and pray for the eternal peace of the departed souls.”
