Protesters have attacked and vandalised the residence of Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at Dhanmandi in Dhaka city.
The incident took place at 3:30pm on Monday, Prothom Alo reports.
According to the report, thousands of people broke through the gate of the residence.
Smoke was also seen bellowing from inside the residence, the report states.
