The protesters have rejected the acting Chief Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam, demanding that Supreme Court Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed be appointed to the post within 6 pm.
Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement, announced the demand during a protest seeking the resignation of the Appellate Division judges at Education Rights Chottor near the High Court on Saturday, reports bdnews24.com.
