Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three fake members of Detective Branch (DB) with arms from airport area in the capital on Tuesday evening.
The arrestees were identified as Ilius Sikder (28), Nasir (32), and Md Milon Sarker, a news agency reported.
Based on secret information, a team of RAB-1 conducted a drive in airport area around 5:30pm and arrested the three members of an organised muggers’ gang, who identified themselves as DB police, along with two foreign pistols, eight rounds of ammunitions, private car, signal light, sticks and handcuffs, said Senior ASP Samira (operation and media officer) RAB-1.
