RAB arrests three with 27kg touchstone in Pirojpur  

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested three people and recovered a touchstone weighing 27 kilograms from Bhimkathi village under Nazirpur upazila in Pirojpur on Thursday morning.

The arrestees were identified as Abdur Rahman, Kibria Sheikh and Nisith Mandal, said Joynal Abedin, deputy additional director of RAB-6.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB conducted a drive in the house of Abdur Rahman and recovered the touchstone worth around Tk 270 million (Tk 27 crore).

Later, they arrested the trio in connection with the recovery, reports UNB.
