Rain likely across country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours, commencing 9:00 am.

“Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka & Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BS,S, citing the bulletin.

The highest temperature on Monday was 33.3 degrees Celsius in Bhola, while today’s minimum temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius in Tangail.

The sun sets at 6:43 pm today and rises at 5:27 am tomorrow in the capital.
