Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours, commencing from 9:00 am.
In its regular weather bulletin issued today, the BMD said: "Rain/thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind, is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions".
It also said day temperature may remain nearly unchanged, and the night temperature may rise slightly over the country, reports BSS.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 34.3 degrees Celsius in Bandarban, while today's minimum temperature was 17.2 degrees Celsius in Rangamati.
The sun will set at 6:06 pm today, while tomorrow's sunrise is expected at 6:11 am in Dhaka.
