The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at different parts of the country over the next 24 hours beginning this morning (Saturday).
"Rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions," said the BMD forecast.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BSS.
The country's highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius at Mongla in Khulna division, while the lowest temperature today was 23.2 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur in Rangpur.
The highest recorded rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6:00 am today was 53mm at Sandwip in Chattogram.
