Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain or thundershowers in all divisions including Dhaka of the country in 24 hours commencing 9 am on Sunday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and a few places over Dhaka division at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions,” said a Met office update, according to a UNB report.
The country’s highest 37 millimetres of rainfall was recorded in Netrokona till 6 am on Sunday.
The country’s highest temperature was recorded in Jashore at 34.8 degrees Celsius over the past 24 hours till 6 pm on Saturday while the lowest temperature was recorded at 22.4 degrees Celsius in Panchagarh’s Tetulia till 6 am on Sunday.
