Nepal's hospital authorities have identified rest three among the 26 Bangladeshi victims of the US-Bangla plane crash.

The victims are Alifuzzaman, Pias Roy and Mohammad Nazrul Islam, reports bdnews24.com on Wednesday.

An official of the Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal said the Kathmandu Medical College authorities identified the bodies through forensic tests.

Bangladesh Embassy First Secretary Mohammad Al Alamul Emam said they are trying to transport the bodies as soon as possible.

"But no specific date has been fixed,” he said.

Earlier, officials said a DNA match might be required to identify the charred bodies as the plane burst into flames after the crash.

Emam, however, said a DNA match was not needed in the end. “It would have taken more days, if that had been the case.”

A US-Bangla plane crashed on March 12, as it tried to land in the Nepali capital, killing 49 people—26 of them Bangladeshis, including four crew members.

The bodies of the 23 victims were flown back to Dhaka on Monday and handed over to families.
