A suspected robber was killed in a 'gunfight' between two gangs of robbers at Ramkantopur in Mohammadpur upazila early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Abul Bashar Biswas, 40, son of Golam Sarwar Biswas of Nohata village and an accused in 10 robbery cases.
Being informed about the gunfight between two robber gangs over sharing of money, police went to the spot and recovered the body of Bashar, bullet shells and some sharp weapons from the spot, said Tariqul Islam, additional superintendent of Magura Police, UNB reported.
A case was filed.
