Russia for strengthened bilateral relations  

Russia wants to strengthen its bilateral and constructive cooperation with Bangladesh securing peace and stability in South Asia and beyond, according to UNB.

While congratulating new Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Bangladesh and Russia have similar approaches to regional and global agenda and are bound by friendship and partnership.

Minister Lavrov hoped the "constructive cooperation" between the two Foreign Ministries will continue in the days ahead for the benefit of strengthening of bilateral cooperation, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
