Former Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury has been released on bail.
He was released from the custody of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court in Dhaka at 6:25 pm on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, two Dhaka metropolitan magistrates granted him bail after hearing six cases filed against the former minister.
Saber, a former MP of Dhaka-9 constituency, was placed on a five-day remand on Monday in the BNP activist Md Mokbul murder case.
