Mrs Yasmeen Murshed, Founder Chairperson, Scholastica school passed away this evening (Thursday, 31 July) at 8:31pm at United Hospital. She was 80 years old.
Mrs Murshed was also a former adviser to the caretaker government led by the then president Iajuddin Ahmed.
She left behind her son Maher Murshed and daughter Madiha Murshed.
Her Janaaza will be held on Friday August 1, 2025 at Azad Masjid, Gulshan after Jummah. Her body will be taken to the Scholastica Senior Campus, Uttara (Sector 1) at 2:30 pm.
Her second Janaaza will be held at 4 pm at the campus. She will be buried at Banani Graveyard.
