The school research programme commenced at Harinaraynapur Union School, with the participation of students from 7th to 10th grades of various schools in Noakhali city on May 29, 2025.
This initiative began with the “Introduction to Research” workshop, according to a press release.
SM Mesbah Ar Rahman, Executive Director of the organizer Chintar Chash was present as the resource person while Nusrat Jahan Mim, the organization’s Noakhali district coordinator ppl performed the overall management.
The event was inaugurated by Mohammad Mustafa Kamal, the headmaster of Harinaraynapur Union School.
Attendees included assistant teachers Sujan Mahmud from Arun Chandra High School, Abul Akher from Begumganj Government Technical High School, and Alif Mahmud from Harinaraynapur Union School.
The workshop covered topics such as what research is, why it is necessary, the mindset required for research, ethics, and the relationship with research.
In addition, young researchers chose their areas of interest, through which they will subsequently determine their research proposals and methodologies.
Students participating in school research programs across various regions of the country who pass the preliminary selection will have the opportunity to join the 10th “Chintar Chash” Young Researchers Conference.
This conference will take place on October 11, 2025, at the Teacher-Student Center (TSC) of Dhaka University.
