Land Minister Narayon Chandra Chanda has directed assistant commissioners (land) to provide services with sincerity and good behaviour.
At the same time, he also directed them to listen carefully to the problems of the land service recipients and provide advice if necessary, while addressing the closing and certificate distribution ceremony of the 36th and 37th Basic Land Management Courses held at the Land Administration Training Center in Dhaka city’s Nilkhet on Monday. A total of 79 Assistant Commissioners (Land) of the 37th and 38th batches of BCS Administration Cadre participated in the five-week long 36th and 37th Basic Land Management Courses.
The land minister said that service recipients ought to avail mutation services within the stipulated time and at government-fixed fee.
Saying that one person’s land should not be illegally mutated by others, he cautioned the ACs (land) to always remain vigilant in protecting government and khas land.
Mr Chanda informed the newly trained ACs (land) that feedback on their fieldwork (land) would be collected after postings.
Land Secretary Md Khalilur Rahman, attending the event as special guest, addressed the ACs (land), stating that the work of providing land services at the field level through the dashboard is being closely monitored. Necessary action will be taken after seeing the progress of the work on the dashboard.
