Anti- Corruption Commissioner (ACC) Commissioner on Thursday warned of stern actions against corruption and any other wrongdoing by the government officials while providing public services.
Commissioner Dr Md Mozammel Haque Khan came up with the view at the 112 th mass hearing of the ACC held at the Keraniganj Upazila Parishad auditorium in Dhaka.
Mr Khan also laid emphasis on eliminating graft to continue the country’s development and growth.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan chaired the event.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, the ACC commissioner said the ACC is doing its responsibility as an independent institution with full enthusiasm from above all interference and vest interest.
A total of 27 complaints by the local residents were placed at the public hearing. The complaints were related to the services of BRTA, Rural Electrification Board, land and other government offices.
Of these, 10 complaints were immediately settled as per the directive of the commissioner.
