A man was slaughtered allegedly by his son at Ali Bazar in Bagerhat’s Morelganj upazila early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Yunus Ali Hawlader, 70.
Quoting witnesses, Thakur Das Mandal, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Morelganj Police Station, said Yunus's son Lal Miah Hawlader, 45, attacked his father and slaughtered him with a sharp weapon around 4:30 am over family feud.
Later, locals caught Lal Miah and handed him over to police, UNB reports.
Police recovered the body.
