SSC examination results likely on May 6

The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations might be published on May 6.

Sources at the education ministry said preparations are going on to publish the results on that day.

However, Examination controller of Dhaka Education Board Tapan Kumar Sarkar said, "We've sent a proposal to the Education Ministry to publish the results within May 3-7.

The SSC and its equivalent examinations began across the country on February 1 and ended on February 26.

This year, a total of 2,031,899 students had been registered for the exams.
