The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on Thursday.
This year, about 1.928 million students will take part in the exams under various education boards across the country.
To ensure that the exams are held in a fair and smooth manner, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee issued a set of guidelines on Tuesday.
According to the newly revised routine of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, the exams will start on April 10 and continue until May 13.
