Strict enforcement of ‘No Helmet No Fuel' policy begins nationwide from today

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has issued a strict directive to implement the 'No Helmet No Fuel' policy across the country starting today (May 15, 2024).
He gave this order on Wednesday at the inaugural meeting of the advisory council formed under the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Act 2017, a local media outlet reports.
Two city mayors of Dhaka, BRTA chairman, and other officials were present at the meeting held at the BRTA headquarters in the capital’s Banani area.
