A student of Rover Polly Degree College was allegedly killed after being pushed off a moving bus by the driver's assistant during a dispute over half fare for students on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway.
The victim, Siam, died after falling off a bus of ‘Takwa Paribahan’ on Thursday night.
On Saturday morning, the students of the college blocked the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Mastarbari in Gazipur district, protesting the killing.
The students alleged that Siam was pushed off the bus following a dispute over a half-fare, reports UNB.

Meanwhile, the vehicular movement returned to normal after nearly two hours of suspension following assurance from the local administration.
