Tarique calls Yunus from airport

BNP leader Tarique Rahman spoke by phone with Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus shortly after landing in Dhaka.

During the conversation, Tarique thanked the interim government for the arrangements made for his return, particularly the security measures, reports bdnews24.com.

“On my behalf and on behalf of my family, I thank you. You have made various arrangements from your side, especially for my security. And we thank you so much… thank you so much for all the arrangements.”

He also asked for prayers, ending the call with assurances of future contact.
