Supporters of candidates in the DUCSU polls have gathered at the building to hear the results of the central student union elections. The conference room is packed wall to wall.
Media workers had been waiting there for the results for hours. Suddenly, before midnight, students seemed to fill the room instantaneously. Slogans erupted from the floor.
Many gathered on the ground floor of the building too. Lots of people were waiting on the stairs.
”Rafsan, a student of the university who came to the building, said: “I heard the results are being announced here. That is why I came."
