Three people were killed and three others injured when a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Dhaka-Kishoreganj in Kapasia upazila of Gazipur district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Ratna Akter, 32, her son Shayan, 4 and Toufidul Islam, 14, son of Abul Kalam of Tarail upazila in Kishoreganj district, reports UNB.
The accident occurred in the afternoon near Surya Narayanpur Palli Bidyut area when the Kishoreganj-bound bus of ‘Annanya Classic Paribahan’ from Dhaka hit the CNG-run auto-rickshaw, leaving two killed on the spot and four others injured, said Joynal Abedin Mandal, officer-in-charge of Kapasia Police Station.
Among the injured, one died on the way to Dhaka.
