At least three people have been killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a pickup van on Mymensingh-Sherpur highway.
The incident occurred in Tarakanda upazila health complex area of the upazila around 7:00 am Tuesday, said Md Wazed Ali, Officer-in-charge of Tarakanda Police Station.
The identities of the deceased couldn't be known immediately, according to local media reports.
The pickup van driver died on the spot and two others injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared them dead, police said.
