Three people were killed in two separate road accidents on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Savar on Monday and Sunday night.
Around 6:00 am on Monday, a Dhaka-bound Nabil Paribahan bus lost control and hit a road divider, killing its helper on the spot, said witnesses.
The deceased was identified as Md Anwarul Islam, 35, who hailed from Panchagarh district, reports UNB.
Meanwhile, a private car knocked down two pedestrians in the Bank Town area on the Dhaka-Aricha highway while making a U-turn, leaving both dead on the spot, said police.
The deceased were identified as Archana Rani, 39, and Ridoy Chandra Das, 23, from Netrakona district.
Savar police sergeant Md Shariful Islam confirmed the deaths.
