Three more die of dengue

Three more people died of dengue in the last 24 hours until Saturday 8.00am, raising the total death toll this year to 98.

The deceased include a 13-year-old girl from Narayanganj, a 23-year-old man from Gendaria, and a 60-year-old woman from Barguna, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the same period, 325 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals nationwide, bringing the total number of cases since January to 23,735.

Dhaka South City Corporation reported two of the three latest deaths and remains one of the most affected areas, along with Dhaka North and other parts of Dhaka Division.
