Three college students have died as a bus rammed a motorcycle on which they were riding at Etahata area in Gazipur city on Sunday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Rajababu, Jony, and Mahfuz, class-XII students of Shahjahan Ali College in Kaliakoir upazila, according to a news agency.
Muktar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Bason Police Station, said that the accident took place at around 10:00am when a bus of 'Palash Paribahan' hit the motorcycle in front of Kashem Textile Mills, leaving two of them dead on the spot and one critically injured.
The injured was whisked off to a local hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Police seized the bus and arrested its driver, said the OC.
