Miscreants set a truck, carrying rice, on fire at Mahugaon Battoli Bazar in Birganj upazila of Dinajpur district on Wednesday night.
They intercepted the truck around 11:30 pm and set it on fire after pouring petrol, said Mijubur Rahman, in-charge of Birganj Police Station.
A firefighting unit rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze immediately, reports UNB.
Police are trying to nab the arsonists, said Mujibur.
So far, six incidents of arson attacks were reported in Dinajur during the blockades since end of October.
