Two more buses were torched at Dhaka’s Dhanmondi and Gulistan areas on Tuesday amid the daylong hartal, called by BNP and like-minded opposition parties.
Police said miscreants set a bus of Rajanigandha Paribahan on fire at Dhanmondi’s Shankar around 8:00 am on Tuesday.
Another bus ‘Malancha Paribahan’ was torched at Zero Point in the capital's Gulistan area around 1:00 pm, said fire service.
No casualties were reported from these incidents, according to local news agencies.
BNP and its allies called the fourth hartal since October 29, along with eleven blockades, as part of their anti-government movement.
