Two people were killed and two others injured when a truck hit a human hauler on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Rangila Bazar in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur in the early hours of Thursday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet, UNB reported.
The accident took place at around 1:30 am when the Mawna-bound truck hit the onion-laden human hauler, leaving a passenger of the human hauler dead on the spot and three others injured, said Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station.
The injured were taken to Sreepur upazila health complex where doctors declared another passenger dead.
