At least two dengue patients died while 715 others were hospitalised in the past 24 hours till 8:00 AM on Tuesday.
One of the death cases was reported in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) while another in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).
With the new deaths and cases, the total number of fatalities from dengue this year rose to 217, while total caseload reached to 51,404.
Among the total cases, a total of 48,667 patients have been released so far after treatment.
Currently, 2,520 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across Bangladesh, 1,661 of whom are from outside Dhaka.
During the last 24 hours, most of the cases were in DSCC and DNCC followed by Barishal division.
