Two people were found dead inside a private car at Dr Sirajul Islam Medical College Hospital parking in the Shiddeshwari area of Dhaka on Monday.
The identity of the deceased couldn't be known immediately.
Police said a white private car entered the parking area early Sunday morning and has remained there since. Around 11:45 am Monday, the chief security guard of the hospital noticed the vehicle during a routine check and saw two individuals inside.
The guard knocked on the windows, but after receiving no response, he informed the police.
Officers from Ramna Police Station and the CID’s crime unit arrived at the scene and began collecting evidence. Authorities have yet to determine the cause of death or release any further details.
Police said efforts are underway to identify the deceased.
