Two inmates of Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday.
The deceased- Rahim Biswas (48), son of Syed Ali Biswas, and Hasmot Ali (61), son of Kiram Uddin of Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur district, died at the DMCH around 10:00 am and 12:00 pm respectively, according to a media report.
Md Bacchu Miah, in-charge of the DMCH police camp, said the two inmates were brought to DMCH from the central jail as they fell sick.
Both were taken to the emergency department of the DMCH, where the duty doctors declared them dead.
