Two killed in Cox’s Bazar head-on-collision

Two people were killed and six others injured as a private car and an easy bike collided head-on on a road adjacent to Cox’s Bazar Shaibal hotel in Cox’s bazar on Saturday 8am. 

All the casualties were identified as hailing from Chittagong and they came to take part in the election of Transport Workers Union in the neighbouring district.

A traffic police inspector, Kamruzzaman said two people aged in 50s died on the spot while the others aged between 30 and 40 were admitted to Cox’s Bazar General Hospital.

Police have seized both the vehicles involved in the accident.
