At least two people have been killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between an oil tanker and a three-wheeler (locally known as Mahindra) in Ghatail upazila of Tangail district.
The incident occurred at the Porabari area in the Deulabari union of the upazila on Thursday night, according to local media reports.
One of the diseased was identified as Shafiqul Islam, 45, of Dhanbari upazila.
He was a manager of a non-government organisation (NGO) in Ghatail. Another died on the way to Ghatail Upazila Health Complex.
Abu Salam Mia, officer in charge (OC) of Ghatail police station, said four passengers of the Mahindra have been admitted to the health complex.
