US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry to visit Bangladesh

US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry is set to travel to the United Arab Emirates, India, and Bangladesh from April 1-9 to discuss the climate crisis, according to a statement issued by the US Embassy in Dhaka on Thursday.

Mr Kerry will travel for consultations on increasing climate ambition ahead of President Biden’s Leaders Summit on Climate April 22-23 and the 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change later this year, the statement added.
