A woman was electrocuted at the Nagua-Bagadia-Taltala area in Sadar upazila of Kishoreganj district on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Mst. Rubina, 32, wife of Md Monir of the same area, reports BSS.
According to locals, Rubina received an electric shock from an electric heater when she went to the kitchen to cook and fell unconscious.
She was rushed to Kishoreganj Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College and Hospital, where the on-duty doctor pronounced her dead.
Abdullah Al Mamun, officer-in-charge of Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station, said the body was sent to the hospital morgue.
