A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Kismat Kukhandi in Poba upazila of Rajshahi in the early hours of Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Ayesha Begum, 35, wife of Samjan.
Nibaran Chandra Barman, officer-in-charge of Katakhali Police Station, said that Ayesha's ninth grader son Anik was an extravagant. She was so much agitated by her son's behavior. She informed her relatives that, she would commit suicide.
When all the family members slept, she hanged herself with a ceiling fan, UNB reported quoting the OC.
Her husband found the hanging body when he woke up for taking sehri and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body.
