A young man allegedly killed himself jumping before a running train at Chatmohar Railway Station in Chatmohar upazila, Pabna on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sirajul Islam, son of Amzad Hossain of Borabaria area of Atgharia upazila.
Police are working to find the reason for the youth's alleged act.
Masum Ali, master of the railway station, said Sirajul leapt in front of Dhaka-bound 'Silk City Express' around 10 am and died on the spot, reports UNB.
