Bangalis love sweets. In fact, the love is so intense that one cannot imagine celebrating any occasion without ‘rashogollas’ or ‘misti’ as they are locally known.

Imagine you are buying 1kg of sweet and paying 20 per cent of the price for the box only. For example, if the sweet costs Tk 100, you end up paying Tk 20 for the box alone, which, by the way, comes free.

‘Bhai Bhai Sweet Shop’ in Shariatpur was cheating people this is how for quite some time now before they were caught red-handed during a drive by Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection’s Shariatpur office, reports UNB.

The drive was conducted at Brac Cooperative Bazar, BK Nagar Ananda  Bazar and Nowdoba Bazar in Zajira upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
