Mr. Monzur Hossain was re-appointed as chairman of Rupali Bank Ltd for three years.
The ministry of finance issued an order in this regard Thursday last. Earlier, he was appointed Chairman to the Board of Rupali Bank Limited on 2nd April, 2015.
Mr Hossain served as senior secretary at Local Government Division, Ministry of LGRD & Cooperatives and other key ministries before his retirement from the cadre service.
During his long span of administrative career, he served in different capacities at field level and in Bangladesh Secretariat.
He obtained BSS (Hons), MSS in Economics from Dhaka University and Fellowship in Public Affairs in Woodrow Wilson school, Princeton University, USA, said a statement.
