Int'l seminar on ICC and Rohingya crisis on June 4

An international seminar titled “Accountability: The International Criminal Court and the Rohingya Crisis” will be held on June 4 at Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka.

ActionAid Bangladesh, Centre for Genocide Studies, University of Dhaka and Centre for Peace & Justice, BRAC University have jointly organised the seminar, said a statement.

Government officials, legal experts, diplomatic mission heads, academicians, think tanks and development partners on the issue will join the seminar.

Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed, High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Ms. Kate Vigneswaran, Consultant, United Nations Office on Drugs &Crime and former ICC prosecutor for Yugoslavia Tribunal, Philip M. Ruddock, MP, Former Father of Australian Parliament and Mayor of Hornsby, Professor Imtiaz Ahmed, Department of International Relations and Director, Centre for Genocide Studies, University of Dhaka, Barrister Manzoor Hasan, OBE, Executive Director, Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ), BRAC University and Farah Kabir, Country Director, ActionAid Bangladesh will speak.
