Professor Emeritus Serajul Islam Choudhury Saturday received “Sheltech Award 2017”.
Renowned artist Professor Rafiqun Nabi (Ranabi) also received the award for 2015 and Professor Emeritus Dr Aynun Nishat for 2016 from Sheltech Chairman Engr. Kutubuddin Ahmed and Founder Managing Director Dr. Toufiq M Seraj at Sheltech Lounge, Dhaka, said a statement.
Each Sheltech Award includes an amount of Tk 0.2 million and a crest. Sheltech Director Tanvir Ahmed and Dr. Samia Seraj were also present on this occasion.

Poet Shamsur Rahman, Rabindra sangeet singer Kalim Sharafi, Nazrul sangeet singer Firoza Begum, Artist Qayyum Chowdhury, Litterateur Rabeya Khatun, Scientist & writer Prof. Dr. Jafar Iqbal, Agriculture Development Activist Shykh Seraj, Painter Mustafa Monwar, Playwright Mamtazuddin Ahmed, Filmmaker Subhash Dutta, Educationist Prof. Abdullah Abu Sayeed, Actor Engr. Abul Hayat, Architect Moinul Hossain, Litterateur Humayun Ahmed, Eminent Singer Runa Laila, Sabina Yasmin, Professor Siddika Kabir, Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, BB Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman, Founder Coordinator of CRP Valerie A. Taylor, CUS Chairman Prof. Nazrul Islam, Eminent Law Specialist Baristar Rafique Ul-Haq and Social Worker Dr. Samnta Lal Sen were the recipients of the award in the previous years.
