67 journalists face harassment across country in Jan-July

At least 67 journalists fell victim to harassment across country in the first seven of the current calendar year, according to a report by an independent rights body. 

Of them, eight received death threats over phone, the Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) report notes. 

It also disclosed that 13 journalists were attacked and harassed by political parties. 

15 cases were filed against published news, the ASK data added. 

207 journalists faced harassment in 2018, the report further reveals.
