Alliance Leasing and Finance Company Limited (ALFCL), a new financial institution with multinational collaboration, began its journey in Bangladesh recently.
The major sponsor of the company is People's Leasing & Finance Plc, a market leader in the NBFI sector of Sri Lanka, said a statement.
The local sponsors include Summit Group, Rangs Group, Alliance Holdings Limited, Green Delta Insurance Company Limited, Rabab Fashion Industry Limited and Concept Knitting Limited.
"With a robust IT system and strong customer-oriented culture adopted from Sri Lanka, we aim to provide technologically innovative financial services to the corporate, retail & SME sectors of Bangladesh," said a statement of the company.
Jowher Rizvi is the chairman of the company and its directors are Hemasiri Fernando, Lutfe M. Ayub, Fahima Akhter, Jehan Prasanna Amaratunga, Michael Pradeep Amirthanayagam, Johnson Anthony Fernando, N. Vasantha Kumar, M.A. Mohamed Rizwan, A. S. Ibrahim, Ayesha Aziz Khan, Sohana Rouf Chowdhury and Farzana Chowdhury.
