Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the law enforcement agencies to arrest those involved in a Barguna youth murder.
"The Barguna incident is very unfortunate. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the law enforcement agencies to arrest the culprits at any cost," Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader told reporters at his ministry office in Dhaka city on Thursday.
A resident of Sadar upazila, Rifat, 22, was hacked to death by four miscreants in front of the main gate of Barguna College on Wednesday afternoon. A video of the incident has gone viral in which his wife was seen desperately trying to protect him.
A case was filed with police by the victim’s father and a suspect was arrested for his alleged involvement in the killing.
